Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Chris IDH (DJ and producer), based in Athens, Greece. Chris IDH is the data controller for the personal data described here.

This site has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels. The only personal data involved is the following.

Booking enquiries

The booking form on the homepage does not send anything to a server of ours. When you press “Send inquiry”, your own email program opens with the text you typed, and you decide whether to send it. If you send it, we receive your name, email address and whatever you wrote about your event.

• Purpose: answering your enquiry and arranging a possible booking.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to messages (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: booking correspondence is kept in the mailbox for up to 24 months after the last contact, and deleted earlier on request.

Cookie choice

Your choice about external media is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us and contains no identifiers — only the categories you allowed, the date and the way you made the choice, so we can prove consent and avoid asking again.

• Legal basis: consent, and our legal obligation to keep a record of it.
• Retention: until you clear it or change your choice; it also resets if the policy changes.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider processes the technical data needed to deliver pages to you, including your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is done to run and secure the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to profile visitors.

External content is blocked until you allow it. Once allowed, the provider can set cookies and will receive your IP address and technical information about your device.

• Spotify (Spotify AB, Sweden) — the in-page track player. Simple links to Spotify are also available and load nothing until you click them.
• YouTube / Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) — the video embeds. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain.
• Bandsintown (United States) — the list of upcoming tour dates is fetched from Bandsintown by your browser.
• Trackstack — the promo submission page we link to. It is an external platform with its own terms and privacy policy; anything you upload there is handled by Trackstack, not by this website.
• Hosting — the site is served by our hosting provider, who processes server logs on our behalf.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you reject external media, no such transfer happens from this site.

There is no mailing list on this site. We never add booking contacts or promo senders to a marketing list, and we do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict how we use it;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.

To exercise any of these, email bookings@chrisidh.com. We answer within one month. You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, Greece — www.dpa.gr.

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated and, where the change affects consent, you will be asked again.
